Believers have spoken a prayer the moment they wake up that focuses their attention on G-d rather than the things of this world. The prayer is called Shama, which is a Hebrew word that means “ hear and obey.

The prayer comes directly from Deuteronomy 6, which reads,

“Therefore hear, O Israel, and be careful to observe it, that it may be well with you, and that you may multiply greatly as the LORD God of your fathers has promised you— ‘a land flowing with milk and honey.’”

Deuteronomy 6:3

I want to how our attention would change if the first thing we did when we walk up every morning was to commit ourselves to loving G-d and obeying his word.
